 ABOUT THEM
Anika Designs opened its doors in 2006 under the direction of Tinni Kanji. Coming from a family of self-starters, Kanji combined her love and appreciation for traditional Indian clothing with her sharp business sense and noticing a lack in the market for Indian Bridal Garments, conceived of Anika Designs.
Kanji tested the market in 2005, in a make shift store, while waiting for the construction of the posh showroom that would later establish her as a major player in the market for Indian cultural wear. By the beginning of the New Year the redesigned store was ready and so was Kanji.

In order to ensure the quality and distinction Anika prides itself in embodying, Kanji made it an annual tradition to travel to India to hand pick the styles, colours and shapes that would later bring joy and grace to those that shopped at Kanji’s store.  Anika Designs carries a wide selection of fusion and wedding wear for men and women, as well as accessories such as jewelry, handbags, stoles and shoes. Most recently, Kanji has incorporated tailoring services on site in order to offer alterations and custom designed outfits in both Western and Indian flavours.
Shopping at Anika Designs is an experience in luxury and attention, with full service bridal consultations by Kanji, where not only the bride is outfitted, but the groom, and both bridal parties and groom’s parties are custom outfitted as well.  For those not looking to be married just yet, Anika also offers a wide range of one of a kind pieces and accessories to clients the world over.  You’re invited to come in and experience the brand and the luxury Kanji has built over 6 years in the market at 9336 – 34 avenue in Edmonton, Alberta.
